Lapping

Apart from the well known regular "Polishing", the" Lappato "process takes now an important place in the ceramic world.
"TOP LAPPATO" is a partial polishing, with more or less surface's brightness, "FULL LAPPATO" is a full polished one and the surface of the tile is completely bright.

Brightness
Our tools are produced in a large range of grains consequently it’s possible to get the shinning degree needed.
Grains available: 30, 60, 80, 100, 120, 150, 180, 220, 300, 400, 500, 600, 800, 1000, 1200, 1500, 1800, 2000, 2500, 3000, 3500, 5000, 6000, 8000, 10000.

Satin/Matt finishing
It’s possible to turn down the polishing grade reducing the last grains 3500- 1800- 1200 – 1000 – etc; sometime completing the sequence with a few heads of brushes (see our brushes "DIALON" and/or "SC RED") in order to uniform and clean at once the tile surface.

All our tools for lappato production are produced in different shapes with the proper attachment for every polishing machines in the market , with various hardness and rubber bumpers suitable for different kind of processing in the ceramic sector.

Resin-diamond abrasives for “full lappato” production of BIG DIMENSION GRES PORCELAIN CERAMIC SLABS with low and high thickness
(SAME AS: Laminam, Magnum overside, Maximum and other similar brands).

Tangential (Fickert Type)
Dimension availability : 100 mm 140 mm 170 mm to be used in accordance to : the rotating heads diameter, the attachment length and to the kind of surface's finishing desired.

Satelite tools
Dimension : Ø100 Ø125 Ø150 mm. in accordance to the kind and Ø of the rotating head and the different tools' attachment.
All kind of attachment are available such as Ancora, Terzago, Snail, Velcro and so on . Furthermore we can supply all types of attachment under request.

Lapping

Satin finishing

When the tile surface is too much rough it’s more difficult to clean it, so it is necessary to make the surface softer. This process is called “ Satin finishing”.
Like the Lappato finishing , Satin ones can be achieved in different smooth finishing with subsequent different grade of gloss.

Satin finishing

Squaring and Bevelling

Today, almost all the floor and wall tiles are rectified, squared and chamfered to make the final laying process easier.

All the last tools' position of the squaring machines use resin bond ones, in order to get the lateral sides surface of the tiles more clean and smooth.

Together with the "Micro chamfering" tool, regular "chamfering " ones , the process of “tile added value” ends up.
